Dräger Dolphin SCR Specialty Why a Dräger Dolphin SCR Specialty? Have you ever wanted to go diving, but without most of those bubbles? Here's your chance to try it with the PADI Semiclosed Rebreather Dolphin/Atlantis Specialty course. This Specialty course introduces you to the Drager Dolphin semiclosed rebreather. Prerequisite Certifications: Advance Open Water Diver (or qualifying cert. from another organization). Nitrox Diver certification (or qualifying cert. from another organization). Minimum age: 15 years of age. Academic Materials: Texts for this course vary from instructor to instructor, at the least you will need the "Mastering Rebreathers" text. Equipment Requirements: These courses are taught in a wide variety of different ways, so contact us for more specific information regarding equipment required for each course. Practical Training: Students will conduct a minimum of 3 dives on the Dräger Dolphin SCR. Academic Training: This Specialty course introduces the planning, organization, procedures, potential problems and hazards of semiclosed rebreather diving. It is specific to the features, accessories, maintenance and proper use of the Dolphin semiclosed rebreather.
