Why Peak Performance Buoyancy? If you want to fine-tune your buoyancy and soar over reefs, extend bottom time by reducing air consumption and prolong the life of your dive equipment, the Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course is for you. Prerequisit Certification: PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification or qualifying certification from another organization Minimum Age: 10 years old Academic Materials: Peak Performance Buoyancy video Equipment Requirements: Students must provide all basic Scuba equipment. It is strongly recommended, that in order to get the most out of this class, that students utilize their own equipment for this course. Academic Training: Students will watch the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy video. Practical Training: During your Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course, you'll use PADI's Basic Weighting Guidelines to determine the correct amount of weight. Then you'll practice the fundamentals of peak performance buoyancy during two open water dives, including the buoyancy check, fine-tuning buoyancy underwater, weight positioning for trim, streamlining and visualization. Course Timetable: This course is conducted in a single day. Students will conduct two dives. Tuition doesn't include use of equipment or boat fees (if applicable).
