    • I WANT TO SCUBA DIVE, WHICH CLASS SHOULD I TAKE?
      To be a certified diver you must complete the Open Water course. This is the first level of scuba certification and allows you to dive anywhere in the world and it never expires!

    • HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET CERTIFIED?
      Our Open water diver course can be completed in 6 days. We offer classes that take place during the week and weekend.

 

    • WHERE DO YOU HAVE THE CERTIFICATION DIVES?
      Locations depends on shop location.
      Seattle: Mulkiteo or Alki cove 2
      Edmonds: Edmonds Underwater Park
      Bellevue: One of the three coves at Alki beach or Edmonds Underwater Park or Mukilteo
      Olympia: Sunnyside Beach in Steliacoom or Les Davis Marine Park in Tacoma
      Tacoma: Redondo or Les Davis Marine Park in Tacoma
      Federal Way: Redondo or Les Davis Marine Park in Tacoma

      Yup, the Puget Sound is teeming with life. We have one the most diverse marine ecosystems right in our own backyard.

 

    • ISN’T IT COLD OUT THERE?
      It is, but with our expertise in drysuits and thermal gear we can outfit you with the equipment that will allow you to enjoy the benefits our weather brings to a dive. With overcast skies and even rain comes better visibility and increased marine life activity.

 

    • WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED FOR CLASS?
      Aside from bathing suits and towels for pool sessions, you will need:
      PERSONAL GEAR (Not Included): Mask/Fins/Snorkel/Boots/Gloves
      SCUBA GEAR (Included): Tanks/Weights/BCD/Depth & Pressure gauge/Wetsuit
      We offer all of equipment that you will need in our retail shop. Any one of our team members will be more than happy to help you find a properly fitting mask, so that you can have an enjoyable experience in class.

 

    • WHAT DO I NEED TO HAVE DONE BEFORE CLASS?
      You will need to have read the entire book, finished all the knowledge reviews at the end of each chapter (watching the entire DVD helps answer questions) and learn how to use any slate or electronic dive planner that relates to the class.

 

  • HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE IN ORDER TO BECOME CERTIFIED?
    The youngest age for scuba certification is 10 years old.
