Description
The Instructor Development Course (IDC) is made up of two parts – the Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program. Most dive professionals complete the entire IDC and go on to attend an Instructor Examination (IE), which is the final step to earn a PADI Instructor certification.
Prerequisite
- Must be a certified Divemaster for at least 6 months
- At least 60 logged dives to start program and 100 dives to attend an IE
- CPR and First Aid training within the past 24 months
- Updated medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months
Class Schedule
Confined water training (pool)/ Open Water Dives (Puget Sound): June 5 (6pm to 9pm), June 6 (11am – 9pm), June 7 (11am – 9pm), June 8 (9am – 4pm), June 9 (9am – 5pm), June 10 (10am – 3pm), June 12 (3pm – 9pm), June 13 (8am – 6pm) & June 14 (8pm – 6pm) – Seattle Location
IE (Exam): TBD. Your instructor will let you know location and time for your dives as they can vary due to tides and weather conditions.
