Drysuit Diver Specialty Course Letter

Thank you for choosing Underwater Sports for your Drysuit Diver Specialty Course.  We hope that you are as excited to begin your new adventure as we are to have you as a student! You should have your class schedule, if not, please contact the store location that you are taking your course for that information.

Academics:

The required material for this course is the PADI Drysuit Diver E-Leaning program. You should be receiving an e-mail from PADI with a link to this online program.  Sometimes this e-mail ends up in the junk folder. Having this course work completed before class is extremely important. Also, please complete the forms section and upload a photo into your PADI account.

Forms & Medical History:

Under the forms section you will find all documents that are needed to be filled out. ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO CLASS! Please follow the directions on the form to determine if you will need a physician’s signature prior to your SCUBA certification class. If a physician’s approval is required and you are not able to obtain one prior to the first day of class, we will need to reschedule your class for a later date.

Equipment:

Your class tuition does not include any gear. If you need to rent a drysuit or any other gear please call and reserve that ahead of time. Failure to do so could result is rescheduling your class. You will want to arrive 1 hour early to your first day of class to get fitted for the rental gear you have reserved. You will be getting in the pool that night to go over skills, so please bring the appropriate gear to do so.  If you are renting equipment, it will be provided for the pool session. With the skills you will be performing in the pool, it is not unusual to get wet, please bring an extra set of clothes to wear under your drysuit that can get wet.

If you have any questions or concerns you can reply to this e-mail or call us at 206-362-3310

*If there is a conflict with the schedule you have chosen, you may transfer to another course 72 hours prior to the first night; if you require additional course transfers you forfeit $100.00 of your course tuition. Classes must be taken within one year of payment of tuition, after one-year tuition paid is forfeit.
